What is Smartlipo?
Smartlipo uses a technology called ‘laser lipolysis’ to destroy fat cells. A small surgical wand known as a cannula delivers laser energy to areas of fatty deposits, rupturing and liquefying fat cells. The fat is then suctioned away, or in some cases left to be eliminated through natural body processes. Either way, the fat cells are permanently removed.
As the laser energy passes from the cannula into the tissues, it seals blood vessels and reduces the bruising and swelling that can accompany traditional liposuction. It also stimulates collagen and tissues to contract, leaving skin looking tightened and toned. Treatment time is often shorter than with other methods of liposuction in NYC.
Most liposuction patients require just local anesthesia for treatment and experience minimal bruising and swelling. In addition to its fat-blasting benefits, Smartlipo can help tighten and tone your skin.
